A much bigger celebration in the USA than in Europe ... yet it seems we are catching up. Here the Halloween display at the Musée d'Art Fantastique (fantasy art). They are running a Halloween special exhibition from the 31 October to 5 November.
In the never-ending series of Brussels statues, here is one in the honour of Edith Cavell. A British nurse, who served in the First World War, she was executed and since became a popular martyr and heroine. Her link with Brussels is quite strong, as she was appointed matron of a hospital in Brussels.
The Sunday treat. Trust me it is just amazing for me to discover all the different cartoon walls - or murals - in Brussels.
Street signs. I did not think of these as a 'series', but it seems that slowly I am developing an eye for funny street signs. Here, another take on the stop sign. Oh, and I did mention this before: every public posting or writing in Brussel/ Bruxelles needs to be in both Flemish (top) and French (bottom). Or vice versa.
There is my DP and food blogging. I also love ceramics though. I collect ceramic, hand painted plates from around the world. There are some beautiful and unusual plates in my (quite) small collection.
