I am sorry I end the week with such a strikingly sad picture ... I came across it on my way to work and I was just shocked by the power of this call for help.

The adds are all over the city attached to rails you can easily grip with one hand. The messages (in French and Flemish) read: the hands of under nourished children are not bigger than this. They urgently need medical assistance - Medicens Sans Frontieres

What a shocking add! Sometimes I really feel hopeless about all the children that need to be saved.

dutchie is right. Sometimes you feel helpless in the face of such poverty and suffering. However. we cannot allow ourselves to feel this way. If we make the decision to help even one child we are doing more difference than if we did nothing at all.
