Walking through Brussels, the capital of art nouveau/ art deco you will come across signs like these quite often. The only thing you have to do is look up.I found this detail above a door in one of my favorite squares, St. Boniface, and loved it. Funny enough I have not noticed it before. The sign, and I am assuming the house, date back to 1900.
