My haberdashery post of Wednesday was quite successful ... so here another take in the same shop.

It's because we all love a dash of colour Andrea, I have a similar picture of hanks of wool on my site.

I love photos like this, because they make you notice how even everyday tasks can be quite inspiring.

I'm here looking for a Taxi on October 1, but there is none. . .

These floss colors are so lovely, as are the threads from the other day! In the US a haberdashary is strictly thought of as a hat shop. Floss and thread and fabrics are sold in needlework or sewing or fabric shops, and sometimes in a general store called a dime store or variety store of a five and dime or five and ten store (where many years ago things cost five to ten cents). What is the name of the store where you found these beautiful colors?

We who are visually inclined (and aren't all photographers?!) will fall in love with this shot. Reminds me of a paint store I often frequent. Love not only the colors but how you caught the circular display.

Great stuff, Andreea. Will have to keep my eyes more open when wandering around this fair (ish) city!
