Besides the chocolate and the beer, Belgium is also world known for ... cartoons (Tintin ring a bell?). Down town Brussels, to the delight of locals and tourists, you can find houses like this one, where the outside wall features a scene from a cartoon. If I come across another one will make sure to 'blog' it.

Viva Italia!

No picture today as there was no time at all :)

But I'd like to welcome Joe from Rome Daily Photo, who is joining the city photobloggers. One European capital I haven't visited yet, so I am very much looking forward to his pictures.

I wish I could take credit for the idea! However I have to thank Eric for the wonderful idea of Paris Daily Photo and only try to attempt to bring Brussels online in the same way.

I take credit though for waiting till 6:00am on the first day of the year 2006 to start 'Brussels Day by Day'. Happy New Year!
